Senior Generalist, People & Organization- Xellia Pharmaceuticals

    Position Name: Senior Generalist, People & Organization
    Position Description:
    The Generalist or Sr. Generalist is responsible for performing P&O (People & Organization) services related to the entire employee life cycle at the CLE site, on off-shifts, while in collaboration and global alignment with CPH Headquarters as well as the Global P&O team members. P&O operations initiatives include, but are not limited to:

    Key Responsibilities

    •       With the “employee experience” in center, provide visible HR presence and off shift support to enable real time engagement and solutions to employees and leaders. This includes among other things:
    o       Talent Acquisition partnering
    o       On-boarding
    o       Employee relations
    o       Career development
    o       C&B
    o       Performance support
    o       Leadership coaching
    o       Exit process
    •       Support the implementation and delivery of key HR processes
    •       Contribute to the development of a “Growth Mindset” culture, based on the Xellia values, Leadership Promise and “One Xellia” people strategy
    •       Work closely with the P&O community and subject matter experts, to provide input for the design of P&O programs in specific areas (e.g., engagement, talent, compensation, training, team dynamics), and support the delivery of programs
    •       Utilize HR metrics and people data to drive solutions based on trends and understand effectiveness of support provided
    •       Support the continuing transformation of the Business and P&O via P&O process implementation and continuous technological improvements (SuccessFactors
    •       Develop solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation. Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives
    •       Serve as subject matter expert on majority of P&O products and services
    •       Serve as a back up to Site P&O leader
    •       Support CLE site leadership with change management initiatives and activities
    •       Coordinate immigration queries, P&O reporting, HRIS activities and leave queries/issues with North America Business Unit P&O Generalist
    •       Make sure that the P&O business fulfill compliance requirements, and adheres to employment law and company policies


    Education & Experience:
    •       Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in human resources, business, public administration, computer science or related field. Master’s degree preferred
    •       Minimum of 5-7 years prior HR business partner and P&O generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
    •       Preferably experience from a complex, multisite, and matrix-oriented work environment

    •       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex data for a variety of audiences
    •       Microsoft Office and HRIS system proficiency, preferably SuccessFactors

    Physical Requirements of the Role

    While performing the duties of the job, the incumbent is required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and move freely throughout the property for the duration of the scheduled shift.  Must be able to operate a personal computer, specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
