Meet our guest panelists:
Tonya Shelton
Tonya Shelton is a Diversity & Inclusion professional who has worked in the human resources field for over twenty-five years.
Tonya has 15 years of collective management experience to include roles such as Call Center Manager, Communications Manager and Training Manager. Most of her career in human resources has been spent as an HR generalist, designing and facilitating leadership development curriculum and creating, implementing and supporting diversity and inclusion programs and initiatives.
Tonya has a BA in Communications from The University of Akron and possesses a certification for image consulting from New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. She spent several years offering professional image and styling services to individuals and corporations through her business, Tonya Woods Image Consulting. An Akron native, she has been active in the community; serving as a board member for several local non-profit organizations as well as volunteering at her high school alma mater. She has an 8-year old daughter named Sarai and loves to cook, eat, travel, learn, meet people and make things beautiful. She is passionate about being of service to others and helping people be their absolute best.
Brittney Price, SHRM-SCP
Brittney Price was born and raised in Fremont, Ohio and has proudly lived in Columbus, Ohio for the last 7 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts from The Ohio State University specializing in Psychology and Communication. She holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification from the Society for Human Resources Management.
Ms. Price has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources and currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources for Hot Chicken Takeover in Columbus, Ohio. She previously served in a variety of HR leadership roles at Lbrands (Ohio), Alliance Data (Ohio) and Domino’s Pizza (Michigan, Maryland and Nevada). Her vast experience in the areas of Leadership Development, Executive Coaching, Employment Law, HR Operations and Reporting & Analytics enhances her credibility as an HR professional.
Brittney serves on the Board of St Vincent Family Center and volunteers with the Columbus City Year Program.
Marianne Senvisky, SHRM-CP, CESP
Marianne Senvisky, SHRM-CP, CESP, is a passionate advocate for people of all abilities. She has devoted her career to helping teens and adults explore and achieve meaningful employment to fulfill their unique purpose. Marianne is Chief Navigator for Pathfinder Career Consulting Ltd., a CARF-accredited provider of community employment services for individuals referred by Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities and local county boards of developmental disabilities. Pathfinder also offers individualized coaching for job seekers at every career stage. Prior to founding Pathfinder Career Consulting in 2018, Marianne worked in the nonprofit sector for United Disability Services, Goodwill Industries of Akron, and Benchmark Human Services. She earned a bachelor degree in Communication Studies with a Writing Minor from Kent State University. Marianne has been a Portage County 4-H youth development volunteer for 30 years and is a 4-H Camp Whitewood board trustee. She currently chairs the Whole Latte Love Café board of trustees and volunteers for the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
