Best In Class Benchmarking and Strategy

How Top-Performing Employers Differ from the Rest and What You Need to Do to Join the Elite

As talent wars and competitive pressures continue to heat up, it becomes ever more critical to be a top-performing employer that attracts, retains and engages in-demand talent.  What do top organizations do that differs from the others?

Using data from Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.’s annual Benefits Strategy and Benchmarking Survey, one of the largest surveys of its kind in the U.S., we have identified specific actionable factors shared by an elite group of organizations.  Our statistical analysis identifies two key areas of talent-related performance – exceptional human resource management and sustained health benefits cost control – and the decisions, characteristics and actions that are shared by the top quintile of employers in these areas.  In this session, we’ll discuss these insightful statistics about both mid-sized and larger employers:

    ·         The factors that differentiate employers that consistently maintain and sustain lower health benefit costs from those that do not.

    ·         The factors that differentiate employers that successfully manage HR challenges, achieve low turnover, and consistently improve employee engagement.

    ·         The factors that differentiate employers that achieve both sustained healthcare cost control and exceptional HR management – an even smaller and more exclusive group.

    ·         Which of the various factors are causal factors – those likely to directly drive exceptional cost control and HR management outcomes; and which of the factors are merely correlative – those likely to be lagging indicators of success and/or indicate other, related behaviors that directly drive exceptional outcomes . . . and what this means for strategy development and execution at your organization.
