The University of Akron SHRM Student Chapter is presenting a great opportunity for HR Professionals to participate in a mentoring program. If someone helped you get to where you are today, consider being that person for our future professionals.
The Mentoring Program provides a way for students to further develop their professional HR knowledge through a paired mentorship with a local HR professional. This is a beneficial one-on-one relationship. The student gains access to valuable HR knowledge from the mentor, an ability to network, and can freely explore what it means to be an HR professional. The mentor gains satisfaction of being able to contribute to a future HR professional’s career development and create exposure for their company.
