    GETTING STRATEGIC ABOUT THE FUTURE OF LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

    Robb Martin is an Organizational Development Strategic Consultant:

    • Organizational Effectiveness Specialist Consultant to the Senior Executives of the Perry Nuclear Operating Company of First Energy helping develop People Strategies.
    • MindShift Coaching and Consulting with a wide range of clients in Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.
    • Senior Lecturer in the Management Department at the University of Akron where he facilitates learning on topics of Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Human Resources, and Leadership.
    • Former President of the Akron Area Society for Human Resources Management
    • Executive Director “The Way Out Prison Outreach” social profit agency serving four counties (Summit, Stark, Portage, and Cuyahoga).

    He previously served as the Executive Director and COO of The Chapel. Prior to joining The Chapel, he was the Vice President for Retail Investments for Ohio at National City Bank for seven years. Robb and his wife have owned four businesses ranging from manufacturing to retailing in the Akron area (Case Farms, North Coast Latex, Martin’s Hallmark Shoppes, and Austin Leasing Company).

    He instructs the SPHR/PHR prep course for the University of Akron, and the GPHR Prep Course for Slippery Rock University.  He has served as a Senior Lecturer on Strategy, Coaching, Leadership, and Management at Slippery Rock University, Kent State University Main Campus, and Malone College. 

    Educationally:

    Robb has an executive MBA from Kent State University and a 2nd degree from Case Western Reserve University…a Masters in Positive Organizational Development and Change. His designations include: SPHR, GPHR, SCP, CRPS and CRPC.  He is certified in 360-degree feedback, MBTI, Fibro-B, and Harrison Assessments and has carried National Association of Securities Dealers Series 7, 24 and 4 to manage option traders.  His undergrad degree is from Evangel College in Springfield Missouri.  He is a member of the National Speakers Association, Organizational Development Network,
