    Are you ready to play like an HR Champion? We can't wait until September 21-23, 2016 for Play Like An HR Champion - the 2016 Ohio HR Conference! Our conference committee is hard at work identifying the best talent in speakers, drafting MVP-like exhibitors and sponsors, and working with the best venue in the Kalahari Resort! We'll be updating the website on a regular basis - so please return often for new information!

    Earn Recertification Credits

    The 2016 Ohio HR Conference program will be submitted for both SHRM Professional Development Credits (PDC) and for recertification credits from the HR Certification Institute.

    Hear Lou Holtz

    We're pleased to announce that our opening speaker will be Lou Holtz. Coach Holtz is a former American football player, coach, and analyst. He is best know as the head coach for the University of Notre Dame (1986–1996). Holtz's 1988 Notre Dame team went 12–0 with a victory in the Fiesta Bowl and was the consensus national champion. Holtz is the only college football coach to lead six different programs to bowl games and the only coach to guide four different programs to the final top 20 rankings.

    We're offering a VIP Breakfast Buffet with Lou Holtz that includes:

    Meet Jim Tressel

    We're pleased to announce that our closing speaker will be Jim Tressel. James P. Tressel became the ninth president of Youngstown State University in July 2014 and has been busy moving the campus forward on many fronts ever since. A native of Northeast Ohio, Tressel graduated from Berea High School in suburban Cleveland in 1971. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Education from Baldwin-Wallace College in 1975 and a master’s degree in Education from the University of Akron in 1977. He also holds honorary degrees from YSU in 2001 and Baldwin-Wallace in 2003.

    Join us for Lunch with Jim Tressel! Your conference registration includes the closing keynote and lunch on Friday; however, we are offering luncheon passes for lunch/closing session only!
