    Beyond Smile Sheets-measuring the effectiveness of training impact on business metrics and the bottom line

     

     

    Human Resources and Training professionals play key roles in ensuring training programs meet the needs of learners and the organization.

    In this session, we will explore several ways to evaluate the effectiveness of training and discuss ways to communicate how training helps drive business results, including:

    •Return on Investment (ROI) for a training projects
    •Communicating evaluation results to gain management support
     

    Amy Edmonds has over twenty years’ experience in training, instructional design and performance consulting.  Ms. Edmonds has designed hundreds of courses on a wide variety of topics including technical training, sales training and leadership development.  Her goal is to design and develop engaging learning that sticks.

    Amy has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and an MBA in management from the University of Toledo, is a Certified Instructional Designer and HPI practitioner.  She has presented on training and employee development for local and national organizations.  She serves as VP of Membership and President-Elect of the Cuyahoga Valley Chapter of the Association of Training and Development (formerly ASTD) and is an active member of Toastmaster International’s Hudson Club.
