Pre-Employment Screening: Reducing Risk through Better Practices presented by A. J. Collins from Klink Company
This presentation offers guidance on the best practices that SHRM members can use while conducting background checks to reduce their institutional risks. We will discuss the costs and benefits linked with screened hiring, we’ll consider new boundaries such as social media, and SHRM members will walk away with a clear sense of what a complete background check needs to cover.
A.J. Collins coordinates and composes transnational & domestic due diligence, fraud investigations, and competitive intelligence projects for Klink & Co., Inc. He also manages investigations and research for the company's in-depth background check wing, KlinkCheck. Prior to his work with Klink & Co., Collins taught research and investigation methods at Philadelphia University and the University of California, Irvine.
