Akron Area SHRM Wage Surveys
Thanks to the participation of area companies and the efforts of the chapter’s Compensation and Benefits Committee, Akron SHRM has had the opportunity of produce a number of wage surveys.
Compensation surveys are most effective when used as a guide and information resource to determine compensation policies and salaries. Akron SHRM’s goal is to provide accurate, reliable and understandable salary data to guide our HR colleagues in making informed decisions about organizational compensation programs.

The 2011 Akron Area SHRM Wage Survey results have been published and are now available for purchase. 40 member organizations participated. Thank you to all who took the time to participate in the survey.
Compensation surveys are most effective when used as a guide and information resource to determine compensation policies. Our goal in this survey is to provide accurate, reliable and understandable salary data as a guide in making informed decisions about your organization’s compensation program.
Survey responses were sent directly to the Chair of the Compensation & Benefits Committee and summarized by Committee members only. The confidentiality of survey responses has been strictly maintained.
